| The Rafter Bats were a five-piece band based in Southern Connecticut. Using the traditional sounds of bluegrass as a foundation, they drew on their diverse musical backgrounds to create a truly unique sound of their own. Whether playing to a crowd of thousands or to a small intimate gathering, they had the ability to get people on their feet dancing or leave them crying in their beer. It was virtually impossible not to tap your foot or sing along while the guys were on stage. The Rafter Bats played both electric and acoustic instruments, including mandolin, dobro, banjo, guitar, bass and drums. The Rafter Bats repertoire consisted of original material, traditional favorites, and well-known covers. |
